Jennifer Anthony, Senior Researcher, has extensive experience in early childhood research and evaluation and project management. In her more than 20 years at AIR, she has played key leadership roles on research and evaluation projects for local, state, and federal agencies, many of which have involved analyzing and evaluating systems that aim to improve the quality of child care and education in California. Ms. Anthony has led and conducted numerous qualitative data collection efforts, including classroom observations, interviews, and/or focus groups. One such effort was the recent Outcomes Study of California’s Transitional Kindergarten Program, which included both the Classroom Assessment Scoring System (CLASS) and the Emergent Academics Snapshot (Snapshot). Ms. Anthony has her Master’s in Psychology from San José State University.
